KARIZ KIDS YOUTH ENRICHMENT SERVICES EMPLOYMENT

We specialize in the implementation of high quality music enrichment programs and curricula. Our staff of instructors are all currently working and professionally established recording artists, music producers and musicians. From the stage to the classroom these rock star teachers are passionate about their community and focused on positive change in our youth. Common knowledge of the music industry is essential. Our extremely dynamic staff includes performing artists, music teachers, music producers and audio engineers. With a combination of this well accomplished and qualified staffing we are confident in creating an ideal environment that will bring out the absolute best results in the students. This dynamic system requires a workforce that is extremely passionate and prepared for the hard work of educating students and fully engaging them in a fast paced learning environment. Youth Demographic: Grades: 6-12

Excellent Organization and Communication Skills
Artist Performance Experience

Experience using Music Production/ Recording software

Classroom Management Skills

ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR

prepare for classes by setting up equipment and supplies
assist Instructor with lesson plans and guiding students
clarify questions for students and maintain small groups when needed
Assist daily with journals
Positive role model
Attend all required program meetings
Coach vocal delivery
Assist students with song content and writing groups
Build positive relationships with site staff
discipline students accordingly
Attend required staff meetings
Strong written and verbal communication skills.=
Leadership and ability to take personal initiative is essential.
Assist the lead instructor in creating and implementing curriculum and lesson plans

LEAD INSTRUCTOR

Energetic and charismatic approach
Supervise and delegate tasks to teaching assistants
Writing QSA’s on board and facilitating daily warm-ups
Prepare for classes by setting up equipment and supplies
Supply portable studio equipment
Order supplies as needed
Write daily journals
Keep attendance profiles
Positive role model
Attend all required program meetings
Coach vocal delivery
prepare for lessons by reviewing plans and doing own research as needed
prepare for final presentation and coordinate reception
Build positive relationships with site staff
Mix and finalize final recordings
Prepare for final presentation and coordinate release date for students CD

PROGRAM MANAGER

Design, deliver and evaluate Youth Programs that meet the needs and interests of youth and the Club’s target markets to ensure their delivery in a safe and quality manner.
Implement human resource management practices to recruit and retain seasonal and year-round staff.
Management property development and maintenance needs to ensure the stewardship of current resources and identification of future needs.
Oversee the daily operation of general Youth Programs including program business and operations.
Ensure that Youth Program staff and participants know and follow safety and educational procedures during programs.
Assist in the management and care of the physical facilities and equipment in all program areas.
Supervise and evaluate Program Specialists to develop and implement all facets of program activities.
Develop and implement schedules and records for all areas of Youth Program and facilities.
Interacts with other departments to promote youth programs.
Attends staff meetings.
Performs other appropriate tasks as assigned by the General Manager.
Reports to General Manager

INTERNSHIP(Ages 16-24)

Knowledge of music and song writing
Leadership and ability to take personal initiative is essential.
Ability to provide leadership in a collaborative environment.
Passionate about arts and music.
Ability to work with diverse groups of people.
Enthusiasm for working with kids, arts and music
Document students educational advancements (photos, quotes, journals) for program portfolio.
Assist in the evaluation of each lesson plan and curriculum upon completion of each activity.
Participates in staff training and weekly staff meetings in the summer.
Works closely with program coordinator and supervisor
